Vivo V50 Elite Edition announced for May 15 with ZEISS camera

Vivo on Monday (May 12, 2025) officially announced the launch of Vivo V50 Elite Edition smartphone in India. This new smartphone will add to the existing V50 series with phones like V50 and V50e.

The Chinese smartphone maker did not launch the Pro variant in the series and thus fulfilling it with Elite Edition now.

Like the other smartphone in the series, Vivo V50 Elite Edition will also get the ZEISS-branded camera system. It is expected to have a 50 MP main camera, supported by a 50 MP telephoto (likely). The selfie camera in the series has been a 50 MP shooter and expected to continue in V50 Elite.

It is expected that Vivo might use a 6,000 mAh battery in the V50 Elite supported by a 90 W charger.

Vivo V50 Elite Edition is expected to run on MediaTek Dimensity processor with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

A 6.78 inch AMOLED display is possible in V50 Elite Edition.

Vivo will launch the V50 Elite Edition on May 15 in India. It is expected to arrive in 40k price bracket.
