Lava launches Shark 5G affordable smartphone in India with Unisoc chip

The Indian smartphone brand Lava on Friday (May 23, 2025) launched the Shark 5G smartphone for the affordable segment buyers in India. The Lava Shark 5G is IP54 rated for dust and splash resistance.

Lava Shark 5G has a 6.75 inch HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It offers a glossy back design.

Lava has fitted a 5,000 mAh battery in the Shark 5G supported by a 10 W Type-C charger.

Shark 5G runs on a 6nm Unisoc T765 octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It operates on Android 15.

The Lava Shark 5G sports a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.

Lava Shark 5G has been priced at ₹7,999 and comes in Stellar Gold and Stellar Blue shades. It is available across Lava retail outlets and Lava e-store starting today.
