Nothing confirms to use Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in Phone 3
Nothing on Tuesday (June 17, 2025) confirmed that Phone 3 will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The Phone 3 will be launched on July 1 along with Nothing’s first product in the over-ear headphone category Headphone 1.
Nothing claims that Phone 3 is going to be their first true flagship smartphone.
Carl Pei, Nothing’s CEO said, “We really have to outperform our previous flagship, so compared to Phone (2) it’s going to be 36% faster on CPU, 88% stronger on GPU, and 60% stronger on the NPU. But what it means in practice, it will feel a lot snappier.”
“We wanted to create a balanced experience. This time everything else also got much better, so we needed an even stronger chip to drive it. People will use these products for many hours a day, so for us it’s about creating a holistic experience,“ he added.

The London-based technology company had previously announced that Phone 3 will be made in India at its partner’s facility in Chennai.
Phone 3 is likely to ship without Nothing’s trademark glyph interface at the back. It may use a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a possible peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
A 5,500 mAh battery is also expected in Phone 3, but probably without charger.
Phone 3 might use triple rear camera set up and a single front camera.
Phone 3 price is expected to be anywhere above 50K in India.
