Canva adds Google’s Veo 3 to generate video clips with sound

Canva has integrated Google’s latest AI video model, Veo 3, so users can create video clips with a text prompt. The feature is available for Canva Pro, Teams, Enterprise, and Non-profit users. 

Users can go to the Canva AI page and select “Create a Video Clip” to start. Once the clip is generated, users can fine-tune the video with text, music or upload designs and presentations in the Video Editor. 

Currently, users can generate five clips a month — Canva has said this will be increased. 

The feature will also be rolled out across Leonardo.Ai for paid users.

The platform has also implemented guardrails to ensure that no harmful prompts are input or any harmful content isn’t generated.
