Samsung on Tuesday (June 24, 2025) announced the dates of its Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 in which it will launch its seventh generation of foldable phones. It is likely that Samsung will launch an Ultra, for the first time, and its base variant as well a flip phone.
If we talk about the probable names, they are likely to known as Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
These new generation of foldable phones from the South Korean electronics major are likely to run the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in every region, including India.

Samsung has stressed more on the AI front with the press note saying, “As AI rapidly becomes the new user interface, it’s redefining our relationship with technology. No longer just a collection of apps and tools, the smartphone is evolving into a smart companion that understands user intent and responds in real time. This transformation moves us from reaction to anticipation — where, as AI becomes the UI, intent becomes instant.”
The next-generation Galaxy devices are being reimagined around a new AI-powered interface, supported by breakthrough hardware built to unlock their full potential. This future is already unfolding, and the best of Galaxy AI and Samsung craftsmanship is about to be unveiled, the company added.
Samsung will launch the new foldable phones in Brooklyn, New York, on July 9 which will be streamed at 7:30 PM IST. They are likely of launch on July 10 in India with local pricing and variants.
