HP on Monday (July 7, 2025) launched its affordable lineup of AI laptops, OmniBook 5 and 3 series, meant for students, working professionals and everyday users, in India. They come with dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 45 to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
The HP OmniBook 5 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor with up to 45 TOPS NPU. It also claims up to 34 hours of battery life.
OmniBook 5 comes in 14 inch 2K OLED display.
The OminiBook 5 offers Windows Studio Effects for auto framing and HP Audio Boost 2.0 that amplifies low-pitch sounds with AI.

Meanwhile, the HP OmniBook 3 comes in 15.6 inch and 14 inch sizes with 250 nits brightness running AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors delivering up to 50 TOPS NPU.
It has Windows Studio Effects, HP True Vision camera, dual mics, and AI noise reduction. The OmniBook 3 series comes with 1x full function USB Type C, 2x USB Type A and 1x HDMI.
HP OmniBook 5 14-inch starts at ₹75,999. It is available in Glacier Silver colour at HP Online Stores and at offline retail stores.
