OnePlus will launch the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 on Tuesday (July 8, 2025) along with OnePlus Buds 4 during its Summer launch event in India. The Nord 5 series is expected to serve the mid and initial premium segment buyers and will compete against the likes of Poco, iQOO and Motorola smartphones in their respective categories.
The OnePlus Nord 5 will run on the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with LPDDR5X RAM, with the Snapdragon Elite Gaming and support for hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing.
OnePlus Nord 5 will have a 50 MP camera at front and a 50 MP lens at the back. The rear camera of Nord 5 will be a Sony Lyt-700 sensor. The front camera will have a JN5 sensor.
Nord 5 may get a 6.8-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. It is likely to feature a 6,500+ mAh battery along with an 80 W charger inside the box.
The Nord CE 5 will run the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. It will also offer 120 fps in gaming too.
Meanwhile, OnePlus has confirmed the use of a 7,100 mAh battery in Nord CE 5, which is the largest battery ever in any OnePlus phone.
Nord CE 5 will sport a 50 MP main Sony camera with OIS along with what is likely to be an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It might ship with a 16 MP front sensor.
A 6.7-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate is a possibility in Nord CE 5.
The OnePlus Buds 4 will have dual drivers, dual DACs, Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio. It claims a 47ms ultra-low latency in Game Mode. OnePlus Buds 4 will sell in Zen Green and Storm Gray.
OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to arrive in the premium segment (above ₹30K price bracket), while Nord CE 5 could offer a choice in mid segment (under ₹25K). OnePlus Buds 4 may be priced at over ₹3,000.
These devices will be sold on Amazon in India, as well as through OnePlus and retail stores.
The OnePlus Summer launch event will stream at 2 PM IST.
